As of February 10, 2009, items sold as "children's products" for children under the age of 12 must be tested for lead levels and phtalate levels.

Our baby hats are 100% cotton and are considered exempt at this time from further testing. The fabric we used is also 100%. This fabric may be used to cover a button and added to you hat or may be the full compenent of the flower itself.
We consider product safety a top priority and we have already tested our products in full. We tested the crochet hats completed with a fabric flower, a cotton beanie completed with a fabric flower and a silk flower with rhinestone, a cotton sunhat with fabric flower and cover button, an elastic headband with flower and rhinestone and also our cover button bobby pins. They all met the CPSIA standards!

However, the button that we cover is manufactured by Prymm/Dritz and meets industry standards. A copy of this certification may be obtained by request. **
Any stones/rhinestones used in our flowers are Acrylic, not crystal.
